Heroism In House Fire Recognized By Mayoral Proclamation
Drew Ferguson is a dedicated customer here at MRC and we want to take a moment to join in congratulating him on his heroic choice to save others! While on his way into work at a local fire department he noticed a house on fire. His quick actions to call in the emergency and check the house for occupants earned him a mayoral proclamation. Congrats Drew!
This time of year is also about giving! We are excited to talk about the volunteer work of one of our employees, Ryan Menary. Last weekend he gave his time and knowledge to Building Bikes, Spreading Love Solon in their annual build event. He assisted in leading volunteers through basic build directions and safety checks on over 80 bikes that were donated to children in foster care.

PASSING ALONG KNOWLEDGE
The last bit of good news we want to share is to note the great job Jacob English has done with contributing to the bike industry as a whole. He has spent the last year speaking at conventions in Bentonville, AK and writing a weekly column for the industry publication Bicycle Retailer. These opportunities have allowed him to share his approximately 30 years of knowledge and collaborate with everyone from other small business owners to production giants. His last column for 2024 is linked below and hopefully he will continue with speaking engagements and written pieces in the 2025 year!
