Job Description

A member of the sales team will be charged with handling retail sales, display organization and cleanliness, phone calls, special orders, etc.  You will be expected to learn and perform basic mechanical services (flat tires, saddle height adjustments, installation of accessories, etc.) as well as basic bicycle assembly and service writing. If you have no experience in basic mechanical services or service writing, don’t worry: we will show you how to do it! Basic housekeeping tasks such as taking out trash, cleaning of displays, etc. will be expected as well.

A member of the service team will be charged with handling tune-ups, mechanical repairs, estimates, as well as bicycle assembly, occasional sales, and consultations with customers. General housekeeping tasks such as taking out trash, service area cleanliness, etc. will be expected as well.

This is a part-time position to start, potentially leading to full-time for the right candidate.

Requirements:

-A passion for cycling!

-Previous retail experience preferred but not required: previous bike shop experience is a HUGE plus!

-A good attitude: friendly, outgoing, punctual, and focused on customer satisfaction

-The ability to multi-task

-The ability to retain new information and dispense it quickly and accurately to customers

-The desire to grow and thrive in a successful company

-Basic computer skills

-Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

-Availability for afternoon and weekend shifts
